A Friend of the Center (FOC) is one who supports the work done in the name and spirit of the International Parish Nurse Resource Center (IPNRC) and Rev. Dr. Granger Westberg, the founding father of modern health ministry. A Friend of the Center is also a person who is interested in the expansion and development of Parish Nurse Ministry at both the local and global levels. By becoming an FOC, one can expand that interest by receiving Parish Nurse Perspectives.

Being an FOC also provides support to the IPNRC for the creation of new health ministry materials. Throughout the year, the IPNRC investigates and creates materials for parish nurses to use that will enhance their ministry. Some of those materials are only available to FOC members.

FOC membership is $45 for a year’s subscription and provides a variety of materials and resources that help support and expand a Parish Nurse Program. Benefits include a mixture of on-line resources and advance access to IPNRC events. A 12 month membership includes the following:

• Parish Nurse Perspectives – the on-line quarterly publication which is the only international periodical for parish nurses
• A specially designed logo for letterhead, business cards, and other items in a parish nurse/health ministry practice
• Early access to the Westberg Symposium registration brochure
• A gift certificate for use at the IPNRC booth at the Westberg Symposium
• Advance notice of newly developed IPNRC resources
• Access of downloadable fliers developed specifically for health ministries
• Additional benefits will be unveiled as they are developed

Memberships are also available at Congregational, Network, and Institutional levels. Their benefits are as follows:

• Congregational Subscription - $125; Up to 10 passwords to access the on-line materials listed above
• Network Subscription - $250; Up to 25 passwords to access the on-line materials listed above
• Institutional Subscription - $1000; Up to 50 passwords to access the on-line materials listed above

Consider being a Friend of the Center and support Parish Nurse development. Begin your membership today by subscribing on-line or downloading the Friend of the Center form.  On the secured application page, select the type of membership, enter your personal information, and authorize the corresponding credit card fee.  You will be sent a password that will provide access to the "members only" section from which information can be downloaded and current issues of Parish Nurse Perspectives can be viewed.  On the renewal date of your membership, you will be prompted to renew.
